Introducing the Husqvarna Automower® Aspire™ R4

The winter will soon shrink back into our memories and will be replaced by sunny spring days (promise!) and with it, a growing lawn.

Having rested through the winter, like the rest of nature, our lawns will begin to thrive as the temperatures rise (promise!) and the days get a little longer.

Perfect timing then to update your lawn maintenance routine and what better way of doing that than investing in a new robotic lawnmower to take the stress out of garden chores?

A new spring has sprung (along with a new Husqvarna Automower®)

As always, Husqvarna continues to lead the world in robotic lawnmower technology and have just launched their exciting entry level connected model, the Automower® Aspire™ R4.

A fresh concept in robotic lawnmowers, The Automower® Aspire™ R4 is a compact robotic mower which is fully optimised for lawns up to 400m2. But even though it is small, it is still mighty, with systematic passage mowing for precisely cut narrow passages and slope handling of up to 25%.

The Automower® Connect app makes scheduled mowing a breeze, with easy monitoring and managing of your mower through your smartphone. You can even add the mower to your Smart Home with simple Alexa and Google Home integration.

Don’t worry about the weather, the R4 is equipped with a frost guard to interrupt mowing schedules in frosty conditions (protecting the lawn from damage) and weather timer which adjusts the working time to the lawn’s growth rate, decreasing the wear on law and mower.

If you’ve been waiting for a great value robotic mower which is still tooled up with the latest tech features, your wait is now over. The Automower® Aspire™ R4 is the first of its kind, offering a pocket friendly price with all the features you have come to know and expect from Husqvarna.

Still not sure how robotic mowers work?

Of course, all models are different. But in general, robotic mowers are guided to mow in the right places by the handily named guide wire. The guide wire, sometimes called perimeter wire, is buried around the edge of the garden and around any large obstacles such as sheds. The wire can be installed around complicated pathways or garden designs to keep the mower on track everywhere in the garden.

When the mower is scheduled to mow, it will work its way around the lawn in a random way, to avoid excess wear on the lawn and ensure an even mow. The clippings are cut into tiny pieces which act as a mulch, decomposing at the roots of the grass and fertilising the lawn for lush, green and healthy grass.
